Little Free Library Ceremony #KingstonNy

The Junior League of Kingston, NY and Kingston Library. Little Free Library (LFL) is part of a worldwide movement to offer free books housed in a small structure to members of the local community. Also known as a community book exchange or pop-up library, it allows anyone in the community to borrow a book and then return it or exchange it with one of their own. The project's goal is to expand the library access in Kingston, while fulfilling LFL's mission to promote literacy and the love of reading while building a sense of community. Locations are expected to include: Kingston Kinderland II playground at Forsyth Park, Peace Park, T.R. Gallo West Strand Park, YMCA of Kingston & Ulster County, Kingston Police Station, Ulster County Department of Social Services
