(Videos) Tree Lighting, Snow and Santa Claus and More







Santa Claus and his friends



Mayor James Sottile gave a few holiday remarks and led the crowd to the countdown for the lighting of the Christmas tree and the giveaway of bikes courtesy of Kingston Professional Firefighters Local 461.



Members of the Kingston High School band entertained the crowd during the event.

Dancers: The Catskill Ballet Theatre..

DJ services was provided by Pro Sound Entertainment and the Salvation Army was also on-hand serving hot chocolate.

The City of Kingston and the Kingston Professional Firefighters Local 461 will host a tree lighting event on Friday, November 26, 2010, at 6 PM, in Academy Green Park.

Alderwoman doesn't like the blogs.....or my camera



I attended Alderwoman Jennifer Fuentes fifth ward meeting tonight at city hall and it was a very informative meeting. ....topics: health insurance, zoning board, midtown recents survey, city buses, transfer station.

Clark Richters, who runs the videoblog Kingston News, found yesterday that his camera wasn't welcome at one of Kingston alderwoman Jennifer Fuentes's regular meetings with her Fifth Ward constituents.
