In an email Simek said: he expects the uplink  rack to be in Esopus Town hall this coming week. Esopus approved putting the uplink rack in the elevator control room and the KAPA commission voted and approved it also. 


Any live studio productions will have to be secured at a separate location and streamed or Skype in to Esopus when that equipment becomes available. Until then tapes/DVD's can be sent to KAPA PO.BX.2818 Kingston, New York.12402.

Kingston Area Public Access Tv Meeting on 1/13/2011

Commission members voted in favor of moving equipment to Town of Esopus hall.

Commissioners; Joe DeFalco, Ann Marie Harms, Ron Markisenis, Brian Barnes, Anthony Watson & John Simek. in attendance are Alan Tyler and Jean Jacobs from FOPA and Clark Richters a Former Commissioner/Producer at Channel 23

Kingston Area Public Access Channel Equipment Auctioned Off - December 18, 2011

Kingston Area Public Access is a public, education and government access channel serving the City of Kingston, the Towns of Esopus, Hurley, Kingston, Marbletown, Rosendale and Ulster. KPA's locally produced programming is carried on Time Warner Cable channel 23. currently Channel 23 is now under Esopus Community TV 23. UPDATE 7/7/2019

The Town has been facing challenges with the Public Access Channel for more than a year. At Town Hall there is Public Access broadcasting equipment that is outdated and Spectrum is not helping us pay for it. Supervisor Harris has started to explore putting a Franchise Fee in place to pay for updated equipment because she said that by law the Town needs to broadcast public access and allow the public access for their broadcasts as well. Supervisor Harris said, at this time the Town is getting close to falling out of compliance with the law. Read More.
