Fallen firefighter remembered in Kingston, NY

Volunteer firefighter Roger D. Snyder, a member of A.H. WIcks Engine and Truck Co. who was killed in the line of duty in 1988, Snyder, a fire lieutenant, was struck and killed by a drunken driver while working as a member of A.H. Wicks on the capacity of fire police at the scene of an accident on the night of Nov. 19, 1988.

A representative from State Sen. George Amedore Office presented a proclamation and honor guard from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office. filmed by Clark Richters.
