Congratulations Clark Richters for your live broadcast of the Finance Committee meeting. Some people (me included) said this was the way to go, as to Public Access TV, and you showed it could be done- by doing it!
Of course, not many people in the general public know about Ustream, but if you could send the signal live to Ustream, it could also go to Ch. 23 and then to every TV set in the area. You would need special software with particular attention paid to both general and time-specific passwords, and any producer could broadcast not only live events, but also by using a webcam, they could host a live call-in show right from their home (or anywhere else for that matter).
Good job, Clark. I'm proud to have you on the KPA Commission. Now if we could just get the rest of the commissioners to get with it, we just might make this Public Access TV work. Thank you for the effort you put into Public Access.
I am also planning on a live stream at the next Common Council meeting 12/6/2011 The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m.. I can be there after work and start the live streaming at 8:15pm...
