Ulster County Office Building Will Be Open as an Emergency Cooling Center
Kingston, N.Y. – With temperatures expected in the high 90’s, Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan is opening up the County Office Building this weekend for those who may need a place to cool off. The first floor of the Ulster County Office Building will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00AM to 8:00PM. Additionally, cooling locations are being set up throughout Ulster County with the assistance of municipal governments.

“With the extreme temperatures this weekend, please think about and check in on your neighbors. If you or they need resources, please reach out to the Department of Emergency Services at 845-338-1440. In order to make sure people have a place to go, we will be opening the County Office Building as an emergency cooling center.”
