On Wednesday, January 8, 2020, the Water Department will be repairing a leak on Linderman Avenue, near Burgevin Street. Due to the location, a large shut down will be required to make the repair and it will be necessary to shut off the water to residents on the following Streets:
Linderman Ave. (just past Hewitt)
Navarra Street
Becket Street
Hillsworth Avenue
Arlmont Street
Melrose Avenue
Hillcrest Avenue
Glen Street
Twin Ponds (the entire complex)
Elaine Drive
Allison Court
Amy Court
Loughran Court
Boulevard south of Pettit to the City line.
The Ulster County Complex at Golden Hill, including the Law Enforcement Center and the Golden Hill Health Care Facility, WILL NOT BE AFFECTED.
To those residents in the impacted area, water will not be shut off on the 8th until sometime after 8am and work will continue until the repair is completed later that day. Once water is restored to your home, we advise that all water used for cooking and drinking be boiled until the results from bacterial testing are received. We will notify you once those test results are received.
