Ulster County Department of Health posted on Facebook: In response to the wind storm that has affected Ulster County leaving 8,000 Central Hudson customers without power and the expected drop in temperatures, the Warming Center will be activated. The center is now located at the 2nda Iglesia La Mision Church, 80 Elmendorf St, Kingston NY 12401.
The Warming Center will operate on the following schedule for the next two days.
• Open 7pm Friday, November 1st and close 9am Saturday morning, November 2nd.
• Open 7pm Saturday, November 2nd and close 9am Sunday morning, November 3rd.
Law Enforcement agencies or any other organization that come in contact with, or becomes aware of any individuals that are in need of sheltering can bring them to the warming center.
