Veterans Day Ceremony at City Hall on November 11

Outdoor Memorial to Take Place on November 11, 2020 

KINGSTON, NY – Mayor Steven T. Noble and the Kingston Veterans Association are pleased to announce there will be a Veterans Day ceremony on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11:00am. The annual ceremony will take place on the front lawn of City Hall, where a new monument will be dedicated to those who served during the War on Terrorism. The Veterans Day ceremony speaker will be Senior Master Gunnery Sergeant Mike Decker. The public is invited to attend. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory for all those in attendance. The event will be held rain or shine. “Though many may not be able to join us for the ceremony this year due to Covid-19, the new monument will be a permanent place to pay our respects to those who have fought the war on terrorism,” said Mayor Noble. “I would like to thank the Kingston Veterans Association for their continued efforts to honor the men and women of the military here in the City of Kingston.”
